Are your designs
CUSTOM or are they TEMPLATES?
Comic Art Pro produces CUSTOM website
designs to give your company a unique online
presence and/or to match your existing marketing
materials; however, Do-It-Yourself Templates ARE
available if you would prefer to build your own
website.

I already have
hosting & a domain name, will you still design (or
re-design) my website?
Absolutely. We will be happy to work with your
current hosting and domain services to design,
re-design or maintain your website. There is no
obligation to register a domain name or host your
website with us (though your website MUST be
hosted SOMEWHERE). We must be granted either FTP
or Microsoft FrontPage access to your current
hosting account in order to make changes to your
site.

What counts as one
"page" of a website?
While
it is POSSIBLE for a single web page to contain an
infinite number of images or words, we define ONE
custom web page as "a static HTML page containing up
to 1000 words of text and/or a gallery of up to 20
images and/or an online feedback/contact form
containing up to 20 form fields. No animations and
no dynamic content."

Who produces the
logos, text and graphics ("content") for the
website?
We
believe that no one knows your industry, your
competitors and your business practices like you do.
Our focus is on crafting a stunning online
presentation for the information that you
provide. You must provide the text copy for each
page of the site and submit any logos or photos that
you want us to include on the site. We code and
format the content, design and develop all framing
graphics for the site's design, and we do have a
limited gallery of generic "stock" photography if
you have no images to provide.

I have
merchandise to sell online. Do you create secure
e-commerce online stores?
YES! If
you are selling a very limited number of products,
we highly recommend using PayPal (a PayPal account
requires no setup fee and no monthly merchant fees
and includes the necessary security). For
larger shopping carts (more than 5 to 10 products) we
recommend a full-scale online store with back-end
administration to ease the burden of adding/editing/
deleting products from the site.

How do I tell you
what I want my website to look like?
Once you
have purchased your Custom Website Design, we will
send you a Website Development Packet via email
which will enable you to describe your color
preferences, indicate your page titles, and describe
your expectations for the site's design. You can
then send us any necessary logos, photos and text
via emails, fax or regular mail.

How many design
revisions can I submit?
As
many as you require! You will
NOT be "stuck" with a design that you do not
approve. Based on the information that
you provide in your Website Development Packet, we
will produce your initial home page design. We want
you to be completely satisfied with your new
website's design and we will modify, refine, or
redesign the home page as often as is necessary to
ensure your absolute satisfaction with the final
design or you will receive a FULL REFUND for
all design fees.

How long does it take?
We will
begin to work on your website IMMEDIATELY upon
receipt of payment and your
Website
Development Packet.
Typically
the process takes one week to one month from the
date of purchase to the day that the site is posted
live under the domain name, depending upon the scale
of the project and the rate at which you provide the
information necessary to complete the site. We have
designed sites in as little as 48 hours, though you
are welcome to take all the time that you require to
evaluate design revisions and gather photos and text
copy for use on the site.
