appearance on Oct 2 at The Scream Factory, the most famous Halloween
Haunted House in the South, where she will be signing autographs.
Brinke will be in New Orleans to shoot a music video for the band
Freak 13. Their song "Scream Queen" was penned as a tribute to Brinke
herself by lead singer Chester Moore.
While in Louisiana, she will also shoot scenes for filmmaker Kalila
Smith's voodoo movie "The 13th Gate". Brinke has just returned from
shooting ONE BLOODY NIGHT in Phoenix, AZ, for director Matt Earles. In
September, she heads to Virginia for Darkstone Entertainment's
SKELETON KEY.

While Brinke was in Kansas City in May shooting "Xeline", the local
newspaper did an interview with her about the film. That story was
soon picked up by many other papers and has now run all over the
country. (You might find it by Googling Brinke's name and the film
title "Xeline".) The sci fi thriller, in which Brinke plays a
black-ops government agent tracking a deadly mutant creature, will
premiere at ConQuest 36 in Kansas City, MO on Memorial Weekend 2005.
(This year's website was ConQuest 35.)
Filmmaker Paul Scrabo's "Dr. Horror's Erotic House of Idiots"
(screenplay co-written by Brinke) is a finalist in the MicroCinemaFest
in Rapid City, South Dakota. The festival, which celebrates low-budget
indie films, will screen "Dr. Horror" on FRIDAY night, JULY 9, in
their 500-seat Elks Theatre, the biggest screen in South Dakota.

Haaga for winning Best Actor awards at the South Dakota Film Festival.

Just a quick update to add a new Convention for September.
April 22, 2004
Currently, Brinke is shooting three film projects back-to-back. In
April, she's in Virginia for a re-shoot of screenwriter David Gwin's
APOCALYPSE, playing a female priest who battles the forces of
darkness. In May, she heads to Kansas City MO for XELINE, produced by
Jon Weimer. Brinke portrays a black-ops government agent tracking a
dangerous xeno-hybrid. June takes her to northern California for John
Bowker's suspense thriller SEE NO EVIL, in which Brinke plays a
corrupt cop tracking a serial killer.
After a cameo in NIGHTWALKERS (2003) as "the storyteller", Brinke is
looking forward to shooting NIGHTWALKERS 2: DEAD THINGS (Gallows Hill
Productions) later this summer. She will star in one of three
vignettes, "Hexed", along with Felissa Rose and Jeff Dylan Graham.
Brinke's updated horror classic CARMILLA is now available in stores --
under the new title VAMPIRES vs. ZOMBIES (Creepy Six Productions).
Her just-released documentary "Something to Scream About" has been
garnering excellent reviews from even the toughest critics. Available
on this site, it interviews such queens of horror as Julie Strain,
Debbie Rochon, Denice Duff, Ariauna Albright, and Judith O'Dea.
Also, some new Conventions have been added for this year.
