Brinke has recently been published in two new books. Available now at amazon.com, ATTACK OF THE B-QUEENS features informative and fun chapters by Brinke, Debbie Rochon, and Linnea Quigley. It is a comprehensive study of women in horror movies from the silent era through modern times, and is loaded with photos. (Luminary Press, edited by Jon Keeyes). Additionally, a new book by Jason Paul Collum, titled ASSAULT OF THE KILLER B's, will soon be available from McFarland Publishers. It features interviews with 20 cult film actresses, including Brinke -- who also appears on the book's cover.

Brinke has teamed up with heavy metal band FREAK 13 to record a couple of intros for their next CD, to be released in April 2004. The Texas-based band pays fond homage to 1970's and 80's horror movies, with album titles like "Drive-In Massacre" and "Fear No Evil". Band member Chester Moore promises a future song will be all about Brinke, herself. We can't wait to hear that one!

EXCLUSIVE eBAY OFFER -- The horror anthology "NIGHTWALKERS" is Brinke's latest DVD release from Gallows Hill Productions. So far, it is not yet available in retail stores nor on her catalog page. Brinke has authorized (and personally autographed) a limited number of copies to be auctioned off on eBay during the months of November and December 2003. To get your advance copy before it hits the shelves, just log onto eBay and do a search under "Brinke Stevens" to find the "NIGHTWALKERS" listing.

In New York City on Tuesday, October 7 at 8:00 PM, "Dr. Horrorıs Erotic House of Idiots" is premiering at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theater on 95th & Broadway. Tickets are on sale now. No self-respecting Brinke fan in the NYC area should miss this one. Co-written by Brinke Stevens, the film also features several funny Brinke-references during its unspooling. Described by some as the "How the West Was Won" of B-Movies, writer/director Paul Scrabo crams his send-up of the current state of B-Movies with nearly every independent "Outsider Cinema" actor working today. Starring Debbie Rochon ("Bog Creatures"), Trent Haaga ("Terror Firmer"), John "The Cool Ghoul" Zacherle, Jasi Cotton Lanier ("Were-Grrl"), Amy Lynn Best ("Severe Injuries"), Tina Krause ("Phone Tag") and countless others. Itıs partially an anthology, partially a musical, and an affectionate and exhaustive parody of movies, even targeting Brinke's own films! Proceeds from the premiere benefits The Actors Fund, and tickets are $10.00. Tickets are available at the box office or online at www.symphonyspace.org

Another of Brinke's films, "NIGHTWALKERS" will premiere on Friday October 31 at the "Halloween 25" convention in Pasadena, CA. It will also be available for sale on DVD at the producer's booth, Gallows Hill Productions. Stop by and meet the filmmakers, Dana Carney and Tom Harris, along with Brinke herself.

Happy Halloween!

Meantime, Brinke reports she's shooting five movie jobs in April: (1) a radio talk show host in Chris Watson's ZOMBIEGEDDON (in a scene with Tom Savini), (2) a serial killer for Vamping You Productions' SLICE N' DICE, (3) a sympathetic mother in Jason Collum 's FIVE DARK SOULS III, (4) a wicked witch for Joe Castro's TERROR TUNES II, and (5) an on-screen hostess for Jason Collum and JR Bookwalter's documentary "Something to Scream About".

In addition, Brinke will do a DVD commentary for the upcoming re-release of NIGHTMARE SISTERS, along with fellow thespians Michelle Bauer and Richard Gabai.

She will soon appear at Chiller Theatre convention (April 25-27) in New Jersey, as well, and hopes to see some of you there in person.

February 2, 2003
Still unpacking boxes (and trying to figure out where to put the sofa) after her recent move, Brinke reports that she shot 12 movies and did 9 convention appearances in 2002. [It brings her official total up to 111 screen credits.] Among them, BLEED (starring Debbie Rochon) is now available at rental stores, and BIRTH RITE will be released very soon. She also sold another script (co-written with Ted Newsom) -- a sexy ghost story called THE SENSUAL SPIRIT. Principal photography has already been completed in Los Angeles, and the DVD should be available within six months. Right now, she has a vampire script, BLOOD OF MY BLOOD (co-written with Sean O'Bannon) at the Sci-Fi Channel, where it's being considered for an original TV movie.

During the month of February, Brinke and Julie Strain will star in Devin Hamilton's DELTA DELTA DIE!, as two former sorority sisters who share a murderous secret. The lovely duo actually square off in a to-the-death cat-fight at the end -- gosh, wish they were selling tickets for that performance!

At the FANGORIA convention on May 24-25 (Los Angeles), Brinke will be signing the debut DVD of NIGHT WALKERS, a bloody folktale set in fictitious Pumpkin Hollow. Joining her will be writer-director Dana Carney and producer Tom Harris. She serves as the movie's sultry Hostess, introducing a trio of terrifying tales. Check out their website.

This week, two new in-depth interviews with Brinke are posted at:
Visions of Terror and The Couch of Doom.
