November 11, 2002
Brinke's eBay auctions will resume this week (Nov 9) after a brief
hiatus while she moved into a new home and unpacked boxes.
There's no rest for the wicked, as November proves to be a busy month
for movie shoots. First on the roster is Devin Hamilton's BIRTH RITE
for Full Moon Pictures, in which Brinke plays the heroine's clueless
mom. [By the way, Brinke's last movie for Devin, BLEED (formerly
called MAKE 'EM BLEED) is soon due for release.] Then Brinke will fill
a cameo role in JR Bookwalter's new film STINGERS, as a housewife who
gets slaughtered by a giant scorpion. Later this month, she'll fly to
San Francisco for Lory-Michael Ringuette's comedy TELE-ZOMBIE, in
which she plays a "Dragnet"-style police detective. In December,
Brinke heads back East for David Gwin's APOCALYPSE to play a female
priest who battles evil forces on a college campus.
August 30, 2002
Brinke is booked for 2 more Conventions for `03, Monsters Among Us and
FrightVision.
August 13, 2002
Brinke will now be appearing at Chiller Theatre this October, from the
25th to the 27th.
July 31, 2002
Beginning in early August, check out eBay for a new auction of 40 hot
movie costumes from Brinke's own closet.
She'll appear at the San Diego Comic Con on Friday, Aug 3 to sign
autographs from 11 am to 3 pm upstairs in the Autograph Area. She'll
also help present Michelle Deal's BLOOD ON THE BACKLOT on Saturday Aug
4th from 1:45 to 2:30 PM.
There's a new Film Festival in Modesto, CA, from Sept 27-29, 2002.
Brinke will be a celebrity guest and a judge in the horror category.
See their website for more info about attendance or submissions. The
deadline is Aug 15.
Brinke has worked on two new movies recently: DEMON SKULL, a Danny
Draven film written and directed by Greg LeWolt, where she played a
sultry "Dragon Lady" type. And in Full Moon's MAKE 'EM BLEED, she
enjoyed a loud psychotic scene with Debbie Rochon and Lloyd Kauffman
(head of Troma Films) who happened to be in town for a store signing.
In August, she will star in Michelle Deal's new short film THE
PSYCHIATRIST, as a therapist for a real wolfman. September will take
her to Miami for Jose Prendes' feature CORPSES ARE FOREVER, where
she'll portray a DNA scientist.
There are also a couple more Conventions where Brinke is scheduled to
appear.

In late-April, Brinke was in Vancouver, Canada to shoot CARMILLA for
Creepysix Films. Directed and written by Vince D'Amato, it's a modern
retelling of Sheridan LeFanu's vampire classic, complete with nuns,
cheerleaders and zombies! Brinke played the role of Juliet, Carmilla's
aunt. It may be released by Halloween this year. She also starred in a
short film (by the same company) called HEADS ARE GONNA ROLL, playing
a sassy bartender. To celebrate her 100th movie appearance, the
Canadian cast and crew surprised Brinke with a luscious blueberry
cheesecake on set.
In early May, Brinke shot DEMON TREASURE for writer-director Greg
Lewolt. She played a "Tomb Raider" type of adventuress who gets
demon-possessed and kills a few people. And contrary to printed
reports, Brinke did indeed work on Jim Wynorski's SLUMBER PARTY
MASSACRE 4, co-produced by Roger Corman's son. As you'll recall,
Brinke was "Linda", a high school victim of a driller killer in SPM1
(1981). Since it was never specified that she died, Brinke reprises
her same role 20 years later, when the grisly murders resume and the
police question her. SPM4 will also feature a brief sepia-toned
flashback from the original film. Brinke says she's highly amused at
how it's all come full-circle!

early modeling shots. If you're looking for something different, check

four new shots per week and will continue for the next few months.
THE FRIGHTENING is now available at Blockbuster video stores. Brinke
plays a lead role as the young hero's mother in this chilling mystery,
directed by veteran David DeCouteau.
In a week or two, FEMME FATALES' huge 10th anniversary issue will hit
the newstands. Brinke graces the cover and is highlighted in a
comprehensive career retrospective by writer and filmmaker Jason Paul
Collum, along with lots of cool photographs.
Later this month, Brinke heads to Vancouver, Canada, to shoot CARMILLA
2000 for Creepy Six Films. In this modern retelling of the Le Fanu
classic, Brinke plays the Aunt role -- with a sexy twist and a few
surprises up her sleeve!

Many good reviews for WITCHOUSE 3 have been posted, such as this one
at Secret Scroll Digest.
Meantime, Brinke and Debbie Rochon are currently re-teamed in Tampa,
Florida, working on Joe D. Casey's WE'RE COMING TO HELP, a sci-fi
drama about an alien invasion in which Brinke plays a scientist and
Debbie a government agent.
These two will also work together in Florida this fall on DEATH ISLAND
(from the makers of WEB OF DARKNESS, Renegade Films). Both will play
doomed actresses who are shooting a horror movie on a creepy Caribbean
island, replete with bloodthirsty zombies. It'll be directed by -- and
will also star -- SFX wizard Tom Savini, who happens to play the fake
film's director.
February 4, 2002
The official site for Death Island is now online. Death Island is an
upcoming film staring Brinke, Tom Savini, Tiffany Sheppis and Debbie
Rochon.

released in April at all Blockbuster stores. (It will also be
available on this website.)
We're happy to report that the reviews for WITCHOUSE 3 have all been
resoundingly positive -- and you can soon see Brinke do another scary
turn in Danny Draven's HELL ASYLUM, where she plays a long-dead bride
who terrorizes a group of young women in a creepy old mansion
This year at the Monsters Among Us convention in March, Brinke will be
a model for a special photo workshop taught by Steve Nichols on
Saturday night. For more information see the convention website or
Steve Nichols website.

Ring in the new year with WITCHOUSE 3! The latest issue of FEMME
FATALES (Jan 2002) is now available, featuring Brinke and all the
stars of WH3 on the cover, plus it includes Brinke's funny & candid
"making of" diary. By the way, this is the first issue of FF magazine
to hit widespread newsstand distribution, which has successfully
doubled its circulation. The street release date for WITCHOUSE 3's DVD
isn't until January 22, but we already have advance copies in stock
(see "Collectibles" and look under "Videos/DVDs"). Those who've seen
it swear that Brinke's never been scarier! We've also added another
scary new video, DEMON LUST, to the video list (it's found under "New
for 2001"). AMERICAN NIGHTMARE will be released on Jan 27, and we'll
have DVDs available after that date. Brinke sends her best wishes to
all for happy holidays and a great new year ahead.
